We are currently recruiting for volunteers to support with our cookery group on Wednesday mornings.
This group, one of many run by the hospice, gives people the chance to enjoy doing some simple cooking. Volunteers help create a friendly and inclusive environment where patients can enjoy cooking together. They encourage patients to do as much as they’re able, supporting independence, confidence, and social connection while respecting each person’s choices and abilities.
Sessions last from 10.30am until 1pm weekly, for six weeks.
This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
