In Memory

Honouring loved ones and keeping their memory alive

Donate in Memory

Donating in memory is a meaningful way to celebrate the life of someone special. Instead of traditional gifts such as flowers, family and friends can make a donation in their name, helping others receive compassionate care and support.

Your gift, whether a one-off donation or a regular contribution, makes a real difference. Every donation helps us continue providing essential care and comfort to patients and their families when they need it most.

One-Off Donations

Any amount is greatly appreciated and provides immediate support, directly funding essential care and comfort for our patients and their families. However much you can afford we are hugely grateful for your support and donation.

Regular Giver

These reliable ongoing donations help us to respond consistently to our community needs allowing us to plan for and maintain high-quality care.

It really is so easy to donate today, thank you for your support.

To say goodbye in the most precious way possible

“The extraordinary loving care and unwavering support the team at Tapping House showed to my wife Sarah and continue to provide to families every day is truly impeccable. It’s the expertise and thoughtful care that provoke a feeling of gratitude in all those who have been supported by the Hospice. “

Funerals or Memorial Services

In Lieu of Flowers

During a funeral or memorial service, many families choose to request donations instead of flowers. This heartfelt gesture can make a lasting impact in the community and provide a meaningful way for others to show their support.

We offer personalised donation envelopes upon request. These can be distributed at the service, and eligible donations can be Gift Aided, increasing their value to the Hospice by 25%.

Online Funeral Notice

You might like to create a funeral notice to share the details of your loved one’s service with family and friends. It’s a thoughtful way to keep everyone informed and can also be used to collect donations in lieu of flowers. You could even turn the page into a special online memorial, sharing photos and memories to celebrate their life.

Regular Giver

Our regular givers are affectionately known as ‘Friends of Tapping House’.  A Friend of Tapping House is someone who supports us with a regular gift, whether monthly, quarterly, or annually, and of any amount. Our Friends make it possible for us to plan with confidence, meet growing demand, and be there for local people when they need us most.
