Preparing for the Final Chapter
Understanding the End of Life
Facing the final stages of life can be emotionally challenging and uncertain. Preparing for the Final Chapter is an educational session developed by our experienced hospice team to help people feel more informed, supported, and confident during one of life’s most difficult journeys.
This session is grounded in the compassionate care we provide every day at Tapping House. If you are supporting someone at the end of life this session gives you the knowledge and reassurance to understand what dying looks like, how to plan, and how to say goodbye.
For Family Members, Carers & Patients
This accessible, compassionate session is designed to support unpaid carers, family members, and people with life-limiting illness.
Includes:
- What to expect as someone nears the end of life
- How to provide comfort at home
- Saying goodbye and planning ahead
- Support for grief and adjusting afterward
