Our Hospice at Home service is a vital part of the hospice’s care, providing compassionate, high-quality support to patients in the comfort of their own homes. This service allows individuals with life-limiting illnesses to receive the specialist care they need in a familiar and comforting environment, surrounded by their loved ones.

Our Hospice at Home service provides compassionate, high-quality support to patients in the comfort of their own homes. This allows individuals with life-limiting illnesses to receive the specialist care they need in a familiar and comforting environment, surrounded by their loved ones.
Compassionate, Personalised Care
Our team of registered nurses and palliative nursing assistants deliver tailored care, including medical support, pain management, and emotional support, ensuring patients remain comfortable and well-cared for at home.
Supporting Families
We understand that caring for a loved one can be challenging. Our Hospice at Home team provides guidance, advice, and emotional support to family members to help them navigate this journey.
Referrals
Referrals to the service are usually made by hospital teams, GPs, or healthcare professionals such as community nurses, specialist nurses, or therapists. For further information, please call Tapping House on 01485 601700.

Expert Care
The Hospice at Home team consists of registered nurses and palliative nursing assistants who specialise in rest-of-life care. They work closely with the patient and their family, doctors, and other health and social care providers to ensure seamless, continuous care.
