I felt the need to give something back….
“Considering what Tapping House did for myself and the family I felt the need to give something back…. The staff at Tapping House, especially the fund raising team are always enthusiastic and appreciative of what not just me but what all the volunteers do. If it wasn’t for them being what they are I not sure how enthusiastic I would be.”
Paul – Fundraiser Volunteer
Can’t recommend volunteering enough
“Love.. love.. love.. volunteering for Tapping House. After experiencing the help and support from the staff at the Hospice, I felt I wanted to get involved, and do what I could to help, around hours that suit me. The feeling of volunteering and giving something back is amazing. Helping at events and talking to people from all walks of life is fascinating and very moving at times. Can’t recommend volunteering enough! Try it… you won’t be disappointed!”

I get to work with a great team
“After seeing care volunteers in a similar organisation, I felt I wanted to do something worthwhile with my spare time – with my years of experience in retail, volunteering at one of the Hospice’s shops made sense. I get to work with a great team, meet new people and keep active too!”
Mike – Volunteer
