Supporters will take their seats in the newly named Tapping House Stand at The Walks this weekend, following a generous gesture that highlights the strong connection between the football club, local businesses and the wider community.
The naming rights for the club’s main stand were secured at a recent Business Club event, with local businessman Jeremy Allen choosing to donate the honour to Tapping House, a hospice charity providing specialist care and support across West Norfolk. Rather than using the naming opportunity for commercial promotion, the decision was made to shine a spotlight on a cause that supports individuals and families during some of the most challenging times in their lives.

The Business Club initiative forms part of the club’s ongoing efforts to build meaningful partnerships with local businesses and organisations, strengthening community links and supporting the club’s long-term ambitions both on and off the pitch.
For Tapping House, the association represents a shared commitment to community, compassion and togetherness. The charity provides personalised care for people living with life-shortening illnesses, as well as vital support for families, carers and those who are bereaved, both at its hospice in Hillington and in people’s homes.
The partnership has been welcomed by the club, which continues to work closely with local businesses and charities to create positive impact beyond matchdays. Commercial partnerships remain vital in supporting player development, facilities and the overall matchday experience, helping to ensure a sustainable future for the club.
As supporters gather in the Tapping House Stand, the partnership will serve as a visible reminder of how football can be used as a platform for good — bringing business, sport and charity together to support the local community.
