Stody Open Gardens
21st May @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join us at Stody Lodge Gardens, a delightful fundraiser for Tapping House as part of the National Open Garden Scheme.
Stody Lodge Gardens, in Melton Constable is a spectacular and unusual space, well-known for the sheer intensity of its planting together on a grand scale, 14-acres in total. And of course the spectacular collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, magnolias and camellias, all under-planted with bluebells and spring bulbs, continue to make this family garden an exhilarating and inspiring destination.
Discover the breath-taking 4-acre water gardens, reached by a picturesque rhododendron-lined drive. Home to the largest mass planting of Azalea mollis in the country – boasting around 2,000 vibrant plants – this enchanting haven is a must-see. Exciting for 2023, explore the beautifully redeveloped Old Rose Garden, now featuring two stunning new herbaceous beds bursting with colour and charm.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are warmly welcome, so bring the whole family to enjoy this serene escape!
Light refreshments will be available to buy on the day and admission will be free into Stody Estate.
