Author Afternoon Tea: with Ajay Tegala

Ajay Tegala is a wildlife presenter, nature writer and conservationist. His television credits include ‘BBC Springwatch’ and “Inside the Bat Cave’. At the age of fifteen he decided to immerse himself in the world of conservation by becoming a countryside ranger. We especially know him for his work on the North Norfolk
Coast at Blakeney Point and later Wicken Fen.

The decade he spent in these roles gave him an in-depth knowledge of our area’s importance in the importance in the preservation of both rare habitats and the species that depend on them. ‘RANGER’ and ‘WETLAND DIARIES’ are the books he will speak about, based on this work. Ajay is a compelling speaker with infectious enthusiasm for protecting wildlife and for promoting people’s engagement with nature.

A full afternoon Tea is included in the ticket.

This is a supporter event held at the Swaffham Assembly Rooms and all profits raised will go to the Hospice.
