Author Afternoon Tea: with Jeremy Page
18th May @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Hosted by David Taylor
Jeremy credits his upbringing on the North Norfolk Coast for his themes of living in a border-land and resilience that are associated with his novels so far: ‘SALT, THE WAKE and THE COLLECTOR OF LOST THINGS’. Despite the enormous success of these works, he has more recently turned his attention to script-writing and now short-story writing. He is coming to talk about his career teaching ‘Creative Writing’ at UEA and his success with the play, ‘ELEPHANT’ which was supported by the Arts Council, and was performed locally at Westacre Theatre.
A full afternoon Tea is included in the ticket.
This is a supporter event held at the Swaffham Assembly Rooms and all profits raised will benefit Tapping House.
